The Issues:

Environment

Maintaining a balance between needed economic development and preserving our cherished history, traditions and quality of life must be in the forefront of our decisions.

Traffic

The widening of Highway 101, implementing rail transit and building a new cross-town connector (Rainier Overpass) to relieve the intolerable congestion of East Washington Street must be top priorities.

Street Repairs

Progress has been made in fixing our streets and roads and there is a lot more to do. I support strongly the efforts to improve our streets to conditions our citizens expect and deserve.

Downtown Revitalization

The Downtown Plan is a breath of fresh air for our city. The plan is very comprehensive and significantly contributes to enhancing our quality of life.
